Job summary

Boots UK is recruiting a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the Pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, and provide patient advice to ensure safe and effective healthcare delivery.

You will work within the healthcare department, building strong patient relationships and upholding SOPs. Career development options include training as a Pharmacy Technician and potential leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or equivalent in-progress
• Currently working towards first year of MPharm
• UK right to work – evidence required
• No visa sponsorship for Skilled Worker visa

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to Pharmacist when needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and comply with processes.
• Assist patients in managing repeats and medicines to promote adherence and reduce waste.
