Job summary

Boots UK is hiring a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will assist in dispensing prescriptions, supporting pharmacists, and delivering safe, patient-focused services within the store’s healthcare department.

You’ll engage with patients, provide medicines advice, and ensure compliance with SOPs while developing your healthcare knowledge and pursuing career progression, including potential training as a Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications

• Prescription dispensing, patient care, and safe medicine handling.
• Knowledge of SOPs and safety regulations in pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Assist pharmacists and healthcare professionals in delivery of pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs for safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new innovations and operational processes.
• Support patients to manage prescriptions with reliable repeats.
