Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will learn on the job while completing a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications

GCSEs at A‑C (or 4‑9) in Maths and English; equivalents may be accepted.
If Maths/English Level 2 is not held, initial tests determine suitability for the course.

Responsibilities

Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
