Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy in Manchester is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will study Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship while working, earning as you learn and gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare setting.

You will support day-to-day pharmacy operations, assist with prescriptions under supervision, handle stock, and learn pharmacy systems. Full training and support provided, with contracted hours and blended learning.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C (4-9) in Maths and English; desirable.
• Maths/English Level 2 tests may be required if not held.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries
• Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision)
• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records
• Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
• Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service
