Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy in Twickenham is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will learn on the job while working toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, earning while you learn.

Key duties include assisting customers at the medicines counter, helping with prescriptions under supervision, handling stock and using pharmacy systems. No prior pharmacy experience is required as full training is provided.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A–C or 4–9 in Maths and English desired.
• Applicants without Maths/English Level 2 may be offered tests to determine suitability for the course.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
