Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy in Stockport is offering a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice position to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, with full training and support provided.

Key duties include assisting customers at the counter, helping with prescriptions under supervision, handling stock and maintaining records, and delivering public health services.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent; Maths/English desired but not essential as training can be provided.
• If Maths/English Level 2 is not held, we will test suitability for the course.
• No previous pharmacy experience is required; full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Help with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality standards.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
