Nuffield Health Woking Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Pharmacy team on a permanent, full-time basis. Salary £25,545 per annum for 37.5 hours per week, with Saturdays on a rotational basis.

This role supports delivering high-quality medicines and patient care within our hospital setting. As Pharmacy Assistant you will assist in administrative tasks, dispense medicines for outpatients, help prepare take-home medicines for inpatients, aid stock management and ensure timely

Qualifications

• Completed dispensing assistant course.
• Experience in a patient-facing role.
• Fluent in English with basic numeracy.
• Motivated to provide high-quality service.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administrative tasks
• Accurately dispense medicines for outpatients

An opportunity has arisen for a full time pharmacy assistant to work alongside the pharmacist in delivery of a high quality service to our stakeholders.

As our Pharmacy Assistant you will:

• Assist in administrative tasks
• Accurately dispense medicines for outpatients
• Help prepare take home medicines for inpatients
• Aid in the procurement of medicines for the department
• Support with stock take and expiry date checking
• Provide all hospital departments with medicines at their request
• Assist the pharmacist with ward work and other duties as appropriate

To succeed as a Pharmacy Assistant , you will need:

• Have completed dispensing assistant course
• Have experience in patient facing role
• Be fluent in English and have basic numeracy skills
• Be motivated to provide high quality service
• A team player
