Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join Outpatients. This bank, part-time role involves weekend work and supports a range of clinics, delivering patient care with a patient-centred approach.

You will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care and relevant acute hospital experience, bringing patience, strong communication skills and IT literacy to the team. The role focuses on assisting various departments and ensuring clinics run smoothly, while providing

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
• Patient, detail‑oriented and a strong communicator with IT literacy.
• The role is ad hoc and requires flexibility to cover weekends and bank shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist colleagues in Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Plastics Surgery, ENT, Cardiology, GP Services, Psychiatry and Physiotherapy
• Enjoy more time to care for patients as individuals
• Manage a wide range of activities and changing priorities
• Make sure the day-to-day operations of our various clinics run smoothly
• Assist consultants and nurses with procedures, such as dressings and wound care
