Job summary

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital is seeking a part-time Healthcare Assistant for Outpatients to join our team on a bank ad hoc basis. Weekend work is included, and the role pays up to £12.50 per hour.

You will support multiple clinics with patient care, dressings and wound care under the supervision of consultants and nurses. Ideal candidates will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, have relevant experience in an acute setting, and demonstrate flexibility, good IT literacy and strong

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
• Flexibility to work ad-hoc bank shifts and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Assist teams in Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Plastics Surgery, ENT, Cardiology, GP Services, Psychiatry and Physiotherapy.
• Enjoy more time to care for patients as individuals.
• Manage a wide range of activities and changing priorities.
• Ensure day-to-day operations of clinics run smoothly.
• Assist consultants and nurses with procedures, such as dressings and wound care.

As a Healthcare Assistant in Outpatients at our hospital, you’ll bring relevant experience, a keen eye for detail and a flexible approach. You demonstrate patience, focus and excellent communication skills. A real team player, you have the diligence, IT literacy and passion for development and training to make a difference. You will be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.

As a Healthcare Assistant in Outpatients, you will:
