Nuffield Health Woking Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Pharmacy team. The role involves dispensing for outpatients, helping prepare take-home medicines for inpatients, and supporting procurement and stock control.

You will work with the pharmacist to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical services in a busy hospital setting. The ideal candidate has completed a dispensing assistant course, patient-facing experience, fluent English, and good numeracy.

Qualifications

• Completed dispensing assistant course.
• Experience in patient-facing role.
• Fluent in English and have basic numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administrative tasks.
• Accurately dispense medicines for outpatients.
• Help prepare take home medicines for inpatients.
• Aid in the procurement of medicines for the department.
• Support with stock take and expiry date checking.
• Provide all hospital departments with medicines at their request.
• Assist the pharmacist with ward work and other duties as appropriate.
