Rowlands Pharmacy (Phoenix Medical Supplies) in Wrexham is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join the Kings Mills branch. The role requires GPhC registration and proven community pharmacy experience. You will dispense, counsel patients, and collaborate with clinicians to optimise care.

The branch uses ProScript and Medipac systems. Relocation support is offered and the position supports a 28.5-hour week, with a schedule including midweek and alternate Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the GPhC.
• Proven experience in a community pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Provide immunization services (where applicable).
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
• Participate in health promotion and public health initiatives.

Working Hours: Average of 28.5 hours per week
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 09:00 - 18:00 (9 hours per day) and alternate Saturday 09:00 - 12:00 (3 hours)

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced pharmacist to join our team in the Kings Mills Branch. As a reputable and community oriented pharmacy chain, we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients. This branch is staffed with an experienced team including a non-pharm manager, 3 HCP's and an ACPT providing an excellent service to the local community from their setting on the outskirts of the city centre. Currently dispensing around 10,000 items per month, this is a relatively branch. As well as providing a variety of services, such as Welsh Services, CAS, EHC, EMS and Flu this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.

The branch uses ProScript system.
