Rowlands Pharmacy in Wem is seeking a pharmacist to join our team at Wem Branch. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, and collaborate with doctors and nurses to ensure high-quality care in a busy community setting.

The role requires GPhC registration with proven community pharmacy experience. You will work with a supportive team including managers, technicians, dispensers, and trainees to deliver excellent service to our local community.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced pharmacist to join our team in the Wem Branch. As a reputable and community oriented pharmacy chain, we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients. This branch is staffed with an experienced team including a non-pharm manager, ACPT, 1 Technician, 2 full time dispensers, 2 part time dispensers, and 1 part time trainee's,providing an excellent service to the local community from their setting connected to a medical centre.Currently dispensing around 11,000 items per month, this is a relatively busy branch. As well as providing a variety of services, such as weight management, flu, covid, contraception, blood pressure, ABPM and Pharmacist First. This branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology, which frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve, and uses ProScript System in Branch.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
• Provide immunization services (where applicable)
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products

What We Require

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Proven experience in a communitypharmacy setting
