Rowlands Pharmacy in Caernarfon is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their community-focused team. You will dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and work with clinicians to optimise care. GPhC registration and community pharmacy experience are essential.

The branch offers a relocation package up to £8,000, Independent Prescriber supplement of £3.80 per hour, 33 days holiday, pension, private medical insurance and a performance bonus up to £5,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting.
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide medication counselling and patient support.
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses to optimise patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe medication management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory.
• Provide immunization services where applicable.
• Advise on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 09.00 to 18.30 and 1 in 4 Saturdays 09:00 - 18:00 ( Some flexibility available)
Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced pharmacist to join our team in the Caernarfon branch. As a reputable and community-oriented pharmacy chain, we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients. This branch is staffed with an experienced team, including an experienced Pharmacist Manager who is also an ACPT and 6 Healthcare Partners, providing an excellent service to the local community from their setting in a beautiful part of Wales. The branch isn't far from the beaches of Anglesey and the mountains of Snowdonia. Currently dispensing around 13,000 items per month, this is a relatively busy branch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
• Provide immunization services (where applicable)
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
• Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives
