Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join the Holyhead branch. The role involves dispensing, patient counselling, collaboration with doctors and nurses, and maintaining accurate records in a busy community setting near Holyhead.

Applicants must be GPhC-registered, with strong patient care and communication skills; the position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with some Saturday coverage, an Independent Prescriber supplement, relocation support, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
• Provide immunization services (where applicable)
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
• Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives

Other Incentive: Up to £8,000 relocation package
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.30 and 1 in 2 Saturdays 09.00 - 13.00 (Some flexibility available)

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced pharmacist to join our team in the Holyhead branch. This branch is staffed with an experienced team of 7 including an ACPT Pharmacy Manager and 6 Healthcare Partners providing an excellent service to the local community setting in a beautiful north Wales port town.Currently dispensing around 13,000 items per month and growing, this is a busy branch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.
