Rowlands Pharmacy in Holyhead seeks a dedicated Pharmacist to join the team at the Market St branch. The role involves dispensing, counselling, and collaborating with doctors, nurses, and the broader team to deliver high‑quality patient care.

The branch uses Medipac robotics to improve efficiency and service levels. The successful candidate will be registered with GPhC, committed to patient safety, and capable of working both in a team and independently.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Maintain patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Provide immunization services (where applicable).
• Offer advice on over‑the‑counter medications and healthcare products.
• Participate in health promotion and public health initiatives.

Other Incentive: Up to £8,000 relocation package

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.30 and 1 in 2 Saturdays 09.00 - 13.00 (Some flexibility available)

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced pharmacist to join our team in the Holyhead branch. This branch is staffed with an experienced team of 7 including an ACPT Pharmacy Manager and 6 Healthcare Partners providing an excellent service to the local community setting in a beautiful north Wales port town.Currently dispensing around 13,000 items per month and growing, this is a busy branch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.
