Job summary

RG Setsquare, Peterborough, is seeking a hands‑on Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join a professional facilities management team on a large industrial site. The role focuses on mechanical plant, with electrical fault finding, fault diagnosis and minor repairs, ensuring safe and reliable operations.

You will work across pumps, boilers, water heaters and related systems, supporting water hygiene and site water management, while maintaining documentation and adhering to RAMS and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Multi-Skilled Engineer in facilities management or industrial environments.
• Strong mechanical maintenance background with hands-on fault finding.
• Good knowledge of electrical fault finding and diagnostics.
• Experience with pumps, boilers and water systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Maintain and repair mechanical plant and building services.
• Diagnose faults and conduct basic root-cause investigations.
• Troubleshoot pumps, motors, valves and boiler systems.
• Support water hygiene activities and monitor water systems.
