Pets at Home is seeking an instructional designer to join our learning and development team in Handforth, operating a hybrid role with one day per week in the office. You will blend animal welfare knowledge with adult education expertise to create engaging eLearning, curricula and assessments that drive behavioural change and improve colleague capability.

Responsibilities include designing content across media, collaborating with stakeholders, and evaluating learning impact using data.

Formación

• Animal or welfare qualification at level 3 or above.
• Qualification in adult education and training at Level 3+ or CIPD Level 3+.
• Experience designing learning programmes, curricula and assessments.
• Strong knowledge of animal health, welfare and pet care.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop engaging learning content, eLearning programmes and educational resources.
• Create and deliver communications that promote learning opportunities and drive colleague engagement.
• Build structured curricula aligned to capability frameworks, learning pathways and business needs.
• Apply instructional design expertise to create impactful, learner-focused development solutions.
• Ensure all learning content is accurate, evidence-based and aligned to welfare and brand standards.
• Use digital tools to create accessible, scalable learning experiences.
• Monitor learner feedback, engagement and performance data to improve programmes.
• Partner with stakeholders to create high-quality content supporting colleague development.
