Job summary

Pets at Home is seeking an Education Implementation Advisor on a 12 Month FTC, hybrid working with one day per week in Handforth. The role leads the adoption and evaluation of pet education programmes, bridging learning design with the retail environment to deliver measurable improvements in colleague performance and welfare outcomes.

The role combines facilitation, coaching and trainer development, ensuring programmes are embedded at scale and aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

• Animal health and welfare knowledge essential.
• Proven experience in learning and development or program management.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and capability assessment.

Responsibilities

• Identify capability gaps via data and stakeholder input.
• Design capability frameworks and learning pathways.
• Align learning solutions with Retail, Veterinary, People and Learning teams.
• Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to shape programs.
• Lead implementation of learning programs (train-the-trainer, pilots, rollouts).
• Measure adoption, behavioural change and learning impact to drive improvement.
• Deliver SQP training, webinars and coaching for engagement.
• Build stakeholder relationships and advocate continuous learning.
• Promote Pets values and a culture of development.
