Job summary

CVS Vets is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist for Old Courts Veterinary Centre in Brigg. You will manage calls, book appointments, greet clients, and support the team in a busy practice.

The role is a 12-month fixed term contract, part-time with Tuesday and Friday shifts and a 1:5 Saturday rota. Benefits include pro rata holiday, staff discounts, an Employee Assistance Programme, and ongoing CVS Vets training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a demanding, client-focused role is a must; experience in a veterinary setting is a bonus.
• Strong communication skills with genuine empathy and a calm, professional manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage communication by handling incoming calls and scheduling appointments efficiently.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism.
• Greet and register new clients, ensuring a warm welcome.
