Job summary

Vets for Pets in Hemel Hempstead is looking for a friendly Saturday receptionist to join the team. You will greet clients and their pets, help with bookings, and handle payments while delivering exceptional client service.

The role runs Saturdays 9am-4.30pm, utilizing our online booking system and practice software. Strong communication, reliability and a passion for pets and service are essential; reception experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with handling payments and bookings using a software system.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets on arrival and guide them through the visit.
• Manage payments and future bookings with confidence and courtesy.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and support the clinical team as needed.
• Coordinate day-to-day workflows using the online booking system.
