The WMCAs People & Culture Services team is seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to provide high-quality support to our Senior Managers. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of our operations, ensuring seamless administrative processes and contributing to our mission of excellence.

What you will be doing.

  • Strategic Support:Assist Senior Managers in developing and reviewing forward plans, ensuring alignment and coordination across with other Senior Managers.
  • Operational Excellence:Manage communications, draft responses, and maintain up-to-date records and filing systems. You will also maintain calendars to include meetings and appointments in conjunction with pre-set priorities and deadlines. Additionally, you will undertake relevant research and development of information and initiatives as required.
  • People Engagement: Deliver exceptional customer service, liaise with internal stakeholders, and provide excellent hospitality to visitors. You will attend designated meetings on behalf of Senior Managers, supporting initiatives taking place and providing feedback in the Senior Managers absence.
  • Financial Oversight:Monitor budgets, process invoices, and manage corporate credit card usage in line with policies.

What’s essential.

  • Evidence of high-level PA support to Senior Managers, and supporting them through the development of forward plans in coordination with other Senior Managers.
  • Experience of providing a business support function to busy teams.
  • Experience of working within a busy environment, within a practical office setting.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and team working skills.
  • Ability to confidentially and diplomatically deal with difficult or sensitive situations.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and display resilience.
  • Experience to network with internal and external contractors, including senior management.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Packages.
  • Maths and English at GCSE level.

Location.

The location for this role is 16 Summer Lane, Birmingham, B19 3SD with at least 2 days a week spent in the office.

We advertise salary ranges, with new appointments typically starting at the lowest salary point. In exceptional cases, the salary point may be adjusted to secure the best candidate.
