Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking an LSA SEN Teaching Assistant for a South Essex school on a permanent, full-time basis. The role covers 37.5 hours per week during term time plus one additional week, with 1:1, classroom and small group support for students with additional needs, disabilities or medical needs.

You will assist with administering medication after training, demonstrate flexibility, reliability and a positive, professional attitude, and contribute to a collaborative learning

Qualifications

• GCSE C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent.
• Experience supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities.
• Willingness to undertake training to administer medication.
• Strong communication with students, parents, staff and professionals.
• Flexible, reliable and enthusiastic attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support for students with additional needs.
• Administer individual students' medication following training.
