Teaching Personnel is recruiting for Learning Support Assistants to support SEN students in Canvey Island. The role offers sociable hours, no weekends, and 8.30am–3.30pm during term time. You will provide 1:1 and group support, help with IEPs, and work with teachers and therapists to aid student development.
Ideal candidates will have SEN experience (not essential), a valid DBS or willingness to apply, and a strong passion for helping children. Excellent teamwork and positive attitude are valued.
Do you have experience working with children who have SEN or any transferrable skills, such as care/ support worker setting, ambulance, police force, military, residential care, sports coach etc?

One of our schools are looking for an LSA (Learning Support Assistant) to help support an SEN school based in Canvey Island. This school are needing extra staff to help support the children either in a 1:1 setting or small groups.
EXPERIENCE WITHIN A SCHOOL IS NOT NECESSARY AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE PASSION AND COMMITMENT TO WORK WITH CHILDREN!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
