Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a South Essex school to recruit an LSA SEN Teaching Assistant. The role involves providing classroom, 1:1 and small group support for students with additional needs, including administering medication after training.

The post is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week during term time plus one additional week), with an ASAP start and a supportive, development-focused environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent.
• Experience supporting students with SEN/D is desirable.
• Willingness to undertake training to administer medication.
• Strong communication skills when working with students, parents and staff.
• Flexible, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
• Positive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities
