A leading education recruitment agency is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a mainstream secondary school in Hillingdon. The successful candidate will support students academically in small groups and one-to-one. This full-time position offers a salary of £19,000 to £21,000. Previous experience with children is preferred, and a degree in psychology or sociology is beneficial. An enhanced DBS check is a requirement.

An excellent secondary school located in Hillingdon is looking for a motivated teaching assistant who can work with children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. The school values academic knowledge and is seeking someone who shares this ethos.
You will work alongside teachers and other teaching assistants to support children in their attainment and progress. You will need to support children’s learning up to GCSE level, adapt to individual needs, and make observations and carry out sessions instructed by the teacher to improve progress. The role is a full-time contract for the full year and may extend for the right person. The school also considers hiring prospective future teachers looking to complete their SCITT / teacher training.
