Job summary

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) seeks a Band 7 CBT Therapist for the Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service (SPMHS). The role involves specialist assessments, formulations, and therapies for perinatal women and families at Campbell House Northampton or Rectory Road Rushden.

You will work within an established team delivering EMDR, trauma-focused CBT and related therapies, with remote and face-to-face options. Travel to bases and community settings is expected.

Qualifications

• BABCP Level 2 accredited postgraduate diploma in CBT.
• Current registration with a professional body (NMC/HCPC or equivalent).
• Specialist perinatal mental health training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for perinatal women/birthing people and families.
• Receive supervision from a senior psychologist/psychological therapist within the team.
• Contribute to service development, audit, policy and research within the service.
