Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Counsellor/CBT Therapist (Band 7) within Lancashire and South Cumbria Reproductive Trauma Service. The role offers 37.5 hours per week with flexible working, including remote options and site work in Blackpool.

You will deliver specialist psychological interventions for women with perinatal mental health needs, coordinate care with maternity and mental health teams, and participate in service development and staff training.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of issues impacting women in perinatal mental health.
• Experience or interest in perinatal mental health services and collaboration with maternity teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist psychological interventions for women and families.
• Lead and support staff through training and awareness in maternal mental health.
• Coordinate care with maternity, mental health, and health visiting services.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans and outcomes.
• Develop comprehensive care pathways in collaboration with perinatal teams.
• Attend regular clinical supervision and stay up to date with guidelines.
