Job summary

Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust in the North East seeks a Psychological Therapist to join the Durham and Darlington Perinatal Service. You will manage a clinical caseload, providing psychological assessment and therapy to women in the perinatal period within a proactive multidisciplinary team.

This fixed-term/secondment 12‑month role offers core hours 9:00–17:00, four days per week, with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Doctoral level training in clinical/counselling/forensic psychology and HCPC registration.
• Post doctoral training in one or more specialised areas of psychological practice.
• Experience providing clinical supervision and supervision of trainees.
• Knowledge of NICE guidelines and multidisciplinary service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly specialist psychological therapy to clients with complex conditions.
• Provide clinical supervision and consultation to colleagues.
• Lead model-specific therapies and ensure adherence to NICE guidance.
• Support leadership, development, and quality improvement within the service.
