Job summary

Royal London is seeking an experienced Software Performance Test Engineer to help build a new state-of-the-art investments platform. The role is based in Alderley Park with hybrid working (50% home, 50% office) as part of the Chief Operating Office.

You will join a team delivering critical digital solutions for customers and business users over a multi-year transformation. Qualifications include expert knowledge of performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter), strong coding in TypeScript or

Qualifications

Expert in developing performance test platforms using LoadRunner and JMeter.
High level of coding proficiency in TypeScript or Java, with strong software engineering standards and practices.
Extensive experience designing and developing automated test suites including data priming capabilities.
Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Grafana.
Strong understanding of web services including GraphQL and REST.
Experienced working with databases, including MongoDB and Oracle.
Proven experience working within Agile delivery environments and modern software development lifecycles.
Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality, reliability and risk mitigation.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while mentoring and supporting others.
Committed to continuous improvement, driving testing best practice, quality standards and innovation.
