Job summary

iO Associates is seeking an experienced Test Architect focused on non-functional and performance testing for a major transformation programme within financial services. The role involves defining and implementing company-wide testing strategy, standards and processes, emphasising performance, scalability and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience in Non-Functional and Performance Testing.
• Proven track record as Test Architect or similar senior testing role.
• Ability to define testing strategies and standards for an organisation.
• Ability to establish testing processes and governance from the ground up.
• Understanding of performance, scalability, resilience and capacity testing.
• Experience embedding testing earlier in the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement company-wide testing strategy, standards and processes.
• Embed testing earlier into the software development lifecycle to ensure non-functional considerations are addressed from the start.
• Work with senior technical and business stakeholders to shape testing governance and direction.
• Provide proactive hands-on leadership to establish best practices and a stronger testing culture.
