Job summary
HM Land Registry is recruiting a Senior Test Engineer (performance testing) to join the Transformation and Technology team. You will define performance test strategy, develop reusable automation assets, and ensure testing is integrated into delivery plans while leading a team of performance testers.
The role requires ISTQB Foundation and a computing degree or equivalent, with experience in LoadRunner, OpenShift, Grafana and CloudWatch.
Qualifications
- ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing.
- Degree level or equivalent in Computing or related field.
- Experience with performance testing in large systems.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain performance test strategy, plan and approaches.
- Develop reusable frameworks and automation assets.
- Ensure performance testing is integrated into delivery plans.
- Provide leadership to performance testers and engineers.
- Design realistic workloads and run Load/Stress/Spike testing.
- Analyse results with APM tools and identify bottlenecks.
- Recommend tuning for code, JVM, middleware, and databases.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to optimize performance.
