Job summary

Faria Education Group in Alderley Park is seeking a proactive People & Talent Advisor to join the HR team. You will support Senior HR Business Partners, provide hands-on advisory across the employee lifecycle, and act as the friendly face of HR in the office.

This role blends HR generalist duties with hiring support, onboarding, payroll coordination, and light office management. You will help organise internal events and continually improve HR processes to enhance the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Some experience in an HR, People, or Talent support role.
• Experience with HiBob is preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Highly organised with good attention to detail.
• Warm, approachable manner.
• Knowledge of UK employment practices or willingness to learn quickly.
• Proactive, 'no job too small' attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior HR Business Partners with day-to-day HR advisory queries from managers and employees.
• Manage end-to-end employment administration: contracts, offer letters, changes to terms, references, and other employment paperwork.
• Take ownership for payroll processing alongside our payroll provider.
• Own onboarding from offer acceptance through to first weeks, including right to work checks, contracts, DBS checks, and new starter setup.
• Manage offboarding, including exit paperwork and exit interviews.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Help ensure HR processes are compliant and well-documented.
• Implement system and process improvements within HR systems.
