Job summary

Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a People Services Officer to join our People Services Team. This Band 4 role blends first-line HR advice with administrative support to managers and colleagues across the Trust.

You will handle policies and terms and conditions information, support employee relations meetings and minutes, maintain workforce records, coordinate training and information requests, and assist with service improvements.

Qualifications

• Provides first-line HR advice on policies, procedures and terms and conditions.
• Supports employee relations meetings and hearings, including administration and minute-taking.
• Maintains workforce records, monitors reports and flags concerns.
• Coordinates training, information requests and job evaluation panels.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line HR advice on policies, procedures and terms and conditions, escalating complex queries.
• Support employee relations cases, meetings and hearings, including administration and minute-taking.
• Carry a small caseload of casework from yourself.
• Maintain workforce records, monitor reports and flag concerns.
• Coordinate training, job evaluation panels and information requests.
• Manage shared mailboxes and confidential records, and support service improvements.
