Job summary

Birmingham Community Health Care Nhs Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated HR administrator to join the Human Resources Department. You will provide day-to-day HR support to managers and staff across Learning Disabilities Division and Dental Services Division, delivering timely advice and accurate information.

With strong customer service, communication, and organisational skills, you will handle sickness absence, investigations, and policy guidance on Agenda for Change and employment law,

Qualifications

• Strong customer service approach and excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and producing activity-based reports.
• Advising on Agenda for Change terms, employment law and HR best practice.
• Manage sickness absence cases and conduct investigations as needed.
• Knowledge of HR policies, statutory legislation and trust procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; prioritise workload.
• Work with Trade Unions and professional bodies as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support to Learning Disabilities and Dental Services divisions.
• Advise managers on employee relations and policy interpretation.
• Produce activity-based HR reports for management.
• Support transformational HR programmes and policy changes.
• Assist with sickness absence management per Trust policy.
