Job summary

Broadacres Housing Association in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, invites an experienced HR professional to join as People Services Manager. You’ll lead HR processes, oversee employee lifecycle, and champion data-driven people insights to support our rural communities.

In this role you’ll manage the HR operations team, collaborate with the People Team, and shape a positive colleague experience through compliant policies, excellent service, and proactive change management.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar operational HR role.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices and employment legislation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative approach with the confidence to own and lead the area.
• Level 5 CIPD qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and strengthen HR processes and initiatives that support our wider business goals.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including Employee Relations, with confidence and care.
• Manage our HRIS and champion high-quality people data and insight.
• Work closely with the wider People Team to deliver a seamless, people-centred service.
• Lead and develop the HR operations team to provide an excellent service every day.
