Job summary

Nrg is seeking an experienced People Partner to join its busy People & Culture team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on managing a varied employee relations caseload and providing practical, commercially-focused HR advice to managers.

You will work with leaders to resolve people matters, ensure compliance with employment law, support organisational change, and contribute to policy development within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in People Partner/HRBP roles with a strong employee relations focus.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied employee relations caseload including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence and investigations.
• Provide practical HR advice to managers on legislation, policies and procedures.
• Support ER meetings, prepare documentation and outcome letters.
• Advise on organisational change, restructures and TUPE where required.
• Build strong relationships with managers and stakeholders to resolve people matters.
• Coach managers to develop confidence in managing ER issues.
• Maintain accurate case records and identify trends/risks.
• Support review and development of HR policies and guidance.
• Contribute to wider People & Culture initiatives and continuous improvement.
