Job summary

tem is hiring a People Operations Partner to join the Performance team. This role focuses on end-to-end payroll across UK and international employees, automation of the lifecycle, and building AI-enabled workflows to scale as the business grows.

You’ll maintain data integrity, act as the go-to contact for employees and managers, and partner with Finance, Legal and Talent to deliver scalable People services. Remote-first, globally oriented startup environment.

Qualifications

• Experience running payroll across multiple countries or EOR environments.
• Strong automation and AI-enabled workflow design to reduce manual work.
• Comfort with experimental tools and building integrations to connect systems.
• Solid data analysis to inform decisions and process improvements.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and drive cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Run payroll end-to-end across UK and international employees, including changes and corrections.
• Deliver core People operations across onboarding, changes, contracts, leave and offboarding.
• Be the trusted point of contact for employee and manager queries with clear responses.
• Maintain accurate employee data and documentation across systems.
• Build automations and AI-enabled tools that connect systems like Rippling, Notion, Linear, Slack, Ashby, n8n and Google Workspace.
• Evolve the People tech stack and simplify architecture.
• Turn recurring pains into scalable processes, with runbooks and owner assignments.
• Design the employee journey to be delightful and scalable as headcount grows.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Talent and other teams to deliver scalable services and dashboards.
