Abridge is seeking a People Operations Generalist to manage onboarding, benefits, workers’ comp, compliance, and HR support tickets. You will work closely with the Head of People Operations to scale core People Ops processes and deliver solutions in a fast-growing startup environment.

The role emphasizes proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and a bias for action. This hybrid role is based in San Francisco, with opportunities to scale People Ops as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, or HR Coordinator roles.
• Hands-on experience with an HRIS. Rippling strongly preferred.
• Experience administering benefits and managing workers’ comp claims.
• Working knowledge of federal and multi‑state compliance requirements, including EEO‑1 reporting.

Responsabilités

• HR Support & Systems: triage employee questions, manage data in HRIS, create self-serve resources.
• Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle: own new hire onboarding from offer to first day, coordinate with IT.
• Benefits & Workers’ Comp: administer benefits enrollments and manage workers’ comp claims.
• Compliance: manage audits, training, regulatory filings, and maintain documentation.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: collaborate with Payroll, Legal, Finance, and IT to provide seamless experience.
