Your typical day might start with checking the team’s inbox for queries or issues that need resolving, escalating, or forwarding to the appropriate team. You might then update key stakeholders on task statuses, always aiming to provide high-quality service. Additionally, you could be carrying out data entry and data maintenance in our people systems, ensuring data integrity and utilising the system's full capabilities, or reviewing a colleague’s DBS application to ensure prompt processing.

People Operations Assistant Role

As a People Operations Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for People Operations support via email and phone. Your responsibilities include establishing strong relationships with internal colleagues, providing accurate and timely customer service, and resolving People transactions and administrative queries within agreed service levels.

You will have ownership and accountability for managing customer issues, working closely with the People Advisors and Operations Manager on tasks spanning the entire colleague lifecycle.

Ideal Candidate

You’re a people person who enjoys getting things done. You thrive in collaborative environments and excel at building meaningful relationships across the business to find creative solutions to issues. You should be comfortable working in the office two days a week with the remaining time remote.

Your role involves all aspects of the colleague lifecycle and offers exposure to all facets of People & Culture, including key projects supporting the wider business. If you are creative in problem-solving, energised by supporting customers, and committed to helping people flourish, we want to hear from you.
