Transform Housing & Support is seeking a People Manager to lead our People Service across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to development and wellbeing. You will work closely with senior leaders to drive our People strategy and empower a talented team to provide outstanding support.

This 1-year fixed-term maternity cover role is 24 hours per week, based in Leatherhead. You’ll manage key HR areas, promote inclusive practices, and collaborate to shape business plans aligned with our

Salary– £31,135p.a (based on £48,0000 pa pro rata) plus benefits

In this role, you’ll manage our People Service across the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to development, and performance management to wellbeing. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll drive our People strategy, that support our values of respect, empowerment, responsibility, and excellence. You'll also manage a talented People team, empowering them to provide outstanding support and guidance.

About the Role

As our People Manager, you’ll partner with managers and leaders to shape and deliver Business plans that align with our organisational goals. With a focus on improving management capability, you’ll manage key areas including recruitment and retention, employee relations, policy development, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and learning and development.

Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a difference. Whether you’re implementing new policies, developing and implementing tools or coaching and supporting managers, your work will be essential in creating a positive employee experience that supports our purpose.

This role is 24 - 26 hrs per week preferably worked across 4 days a week.

What we’re looking for

• Have experience in a similar HR management role, ideally CIPD Level 7 qualified or with equivalent experience.
• Are a collaborative team player who can inspire, influence, and engage others.
• Are organized, results-oriented, with ability to deliver under pressure, forward plan and effectively manage conflicting priorities.
• Have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Possess strong IT skills, with proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
