Job summary

Harlow Timber Group is seeking a proactive People Coordinator to manage the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to HRIS administration and payroll input support. The role emphasizes compliance with UK employment law and consistent service across teams.

The successful candidate will handle probation and training logistics, assist with performance management, and contribute to HR reporting and internal communications while ensuring data accuracy and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 3 qualification required.
• Proven ability to maintain accurate employee records and data privacy.
• Experience using HRIS tools such as Talos, Health Box HR and Harlow Academy.

Responsibilities

• Support managers with recruitment including job postings, interviews and candidate communications.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems (e.g., Talos, Health Box HR).
• Process changes to terms, leavers and probation reviews.
• Assist with payroll inputs (new starters, absence data).
• Support performance management processes such as probation reviews and appraisals.
• Respond to general HR queries and escalate complex issues.
