Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is recruiting for a Work Coach with the Department for Work and Pensions in Wombwell. This is a permanent, full-time position with salary £32,137 per year, located on site in the DWP estate and focused on helping claimants move into work.

You will provide tailored coaching, support customers across Universal Credit and other benefits, and work to meet performance targets while upholding equality and accessibility obligations.

Responsibilities

• Providing support to customers claiming Universal Credit and other benefits.
• Offering quality advice to customers about job search actions and matching to vacancies.
• Building positive relationships and encouraging progress toward employment.
• Developing knowledge of local employment opportunities and partner services.
• Making timely decisions and referring customers to appropriate help.
