Job summary

Boots UK is looking for an Assistant Manager to lead a team on the shop floor, delivering outstanding customer care and safe, compliant pharmacy services while driving commercial performance.

You’ll coach and develop colleagues, plan rotas, manage day-to-day operations, and own the store’s standards and customer experience, in a hands-on leadership role designed to make a real impact every day.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a customer-facing environment.
• Proven ability to take ownership of performance and drive results.
• Able to inspire and coach others and manage performance.
• Strong organisational skills including planning rotas and prioritising workload.
• Clear understanding of compliance, safety and operational standards.
• Collaborative, team-centered with data-driven decision making.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer care and commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team to deliver strong performance while providing great care to customers and patients.

• Be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, including planning, scheduling, staffing and prioritising workload.
