Job summary

Silverstone is seeking a People Experience and Internal Communications Lead to shape and deliver communication and engagement initiatives across permanent, casual and volunteer teams. You will own the internal comms app, redesign the onboarding experience, and drive the culture and engagement strategy aligned with our values and business priorities.

The role requires handling confidential data, data-driven decision making, and strong stakeholder management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal communications, employee engagement or people experience.
• Experience using data to drive decisions.
• Confident communicator with adaptable tone for different audiences.
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential data.
• Strong stakeholder management.
• Comfortable owning a digital platform/app and iterating it based on feedback.

Responsibilities

• Internal Communications: Develop clear, accessible internal communications aligned to our People strategy; manage the internal comms app content, structure and rollout.
• Engagement & Culture: Contribute to initiatives strengthening employee engagement, inclusion and overall experience; support values embedding and action plans from survey results.
• Onboarding & Induction: Reimagine induction experiences for all workforce groups; create a welcoming first day/shift experience; coordinate with managers to keep onboarding on track.
• Exit Experience: Manage end-to-end exit processes; conduct exit interviews and report insights to leadership.
• Cross-functional collaboration with department leads and Marketing to keep content accurate and timely; monitor usage and adapt content based on feedback.
