Job summary

Leep Utilities in Manchester hybrid role within the People & Culture team seeks an HR professional with generalist/partner experience to shape a high-performing workplace. You will partner with leaders, drive talent initiatives, and use data to inform decisions while developing a culture aligned with company values.

You will deliver recruitment, learning & development programs, and manage employee relations, policies, and workforce planning as part of supporting the People & Culture strategy.

Qualifications

• HR generalist and HR Business Partner experience required.
• Experience in Apprenticeship and Graduate schemes, Recruitment, Succession Planning and Learning & Development initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Employment legislation and ER case management.
• Excellent communicator with ability to engage relationships at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Coach and advise line management on performance, employee relations and team development.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning with hiring managers.
• Deliver talent management initiatives including succession planning and retention.
• Support embedding a learning culture and mandatory training processes.
• Lead ER cases when required and support wider HR team on ER matters.
• Review and update HR policies to ensure legal compliance and best practice.
• Use engagement survey insights to drive action planning and culture improvements.
• Provide data for board reporting and HR analytics to identify trends.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR policies, systems and tools.
• Manage People & Culture projects and initiatives aligned with the strategy.
