Job summary

Yorkshire Water is seeking a strategic People Partner to work with People Leaders to shape and deliver people strategies that drive business performance and transformation. The role requires experience in fast-paced environments and practical operational skills across utilities, logistics or manufacturing.

You will translate organisational goals into practical people plans using data and external thinking to influence decision making, build leadership capability and improve effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Business partnering experience in complex or regulated environments.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver people plans aligned to strategy and transformation.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building with senior leaders.
• Experience leading or supporting organisational change initiatives.
• Ability to use people data and external thinking to drive improvements.
• Experience working with Trade Unions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to develop and deliver strategic people plans aligned to business priorities.
• Use workforce data and external trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Lead the people aspects of organisational change and advise on design and culture impact.
• Coach leaders to build capability and high-performing inclusive teams.
• Drive talent and succession planning to ensure future capability.
• Collaborate with People Centres of Expertise to deliver joined-up solutions.
• Maintain strong stakeholder and industrial relations across leadership teams.
