Job summary

Aptia Group is seeking a commercially minded People Business Partner to support the UK business on employee relations and organisational change. This 12-month fixed-term contract role offers hybrid working and a chance to shape people strategy across our UK offices, with Glasgow being a preferred commutable base.

You will bring strong employment law expertise, stakeholder influence and change-management know-how to manage cases, support leadership, and partner with legal where needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience handling complex employee relations in a fast-paced organisation.
• Strong change-management and restructures experience.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and practical policy advice.
• Track record coaching/managing people managers to improve capability.

Responsibilities

• Organisational Change: support transformation programmes and change delivery; partner with leaders; develop comms and change approaches.
• Employee Relations & Case Management: advise on ER cases, disciplinary matters, investigations, performance, absence; escalate complex matters.
• Governance & Regulatory Support: ensure people-related regulatory requirements are managed.
• Stakeholder Management: coach managers, improve leadership effectiveness, deliver interventions.
• Strategic People Partnership: support talent, succession, and policies; identify ER trends for senior stakeholders.
