Job summary

gtd healthcare is a not-for-profit NHS provider delivering primary and urgent care across North West England. The organisation is seeking a proactive People Advisor to join the People Services team and provide generalist HR support to designated business areas.

The role reports to the Senior People Business Partner and focuses on employee relations, policy refinement, and payroll support, with travel to multiple sites requiring a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Minimum five GCSEs including Maths and English.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent is essential.
• A levels or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience in HR generalist advisory and employee relations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Driving licence required for travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to employees and line managers on HR matters.
• First point of contact for employee relations, managing disciplinary, grievance and performance processes.
• Escalate complex ER cases to Senior People Advisor.
• Lead on consultations, variations and TUPE during restructures.
• Review and refine HR policies in line with employment law.
• Analyze exit interviews and attrition to improve retention.
• Ensure GDPR compliance and manage health records.
• Coordinate maternity, paternity and adoption cases and payroll coordination.
