James Cropper PLC is seeking a dedicated People Advisor to join our Kendal team. You will provide essential HR support to line leaders across our group, covering employee relations, performance management, and engagement.

CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is preferred, with strong HRIS and data governance experience in a manufacturing setting. This 6 month Fixed Term Contract role offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including pension, holiday pro rata, health plan, and wellbeing

Qualificações

• Qualified CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.
• Experience in employee relations and case management.
• Experience with HRIS and data governance practices.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide general HR advice to employees and line leaders on policies and processes.
• Advise on ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
• Maintain accurate GDPR-compliant people data and employee records.
• Support HR systems, processes and workflows, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and data quality.
• Produce and analyse people data and reporting to support business decisions.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and documentation in line with legislation and best practice.
• Support HR compliance, audits, and record-keeping.
• Guide managers and employees on consistent policy application.
• Monitor data integrity across HR systems and collaborate with stakeholders to improve accuracy.
• Lead HR projects aligned to People strategy.
