Job summary

Innovo Global Talent in Milton Keynes is seeking an HR Advisor – Employee Relations for a 6-month temp-to-perm contract. You will lead on employee relations and consultation activities across the UK, reporting to the People & Culture Manager.

The role covers supporting restructures, drafting consultation documents, managing ER caseloads, coaching managers, investigations and hearings, and responding to general HR queries. A CIPD Level 5 is desirable and UK employment law expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven HR Advisor experience with a strong ER focus.
• Hands-on experience of consultation processes.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law.
• Confident, assertive communicator with engineers and managers.

Responsibilities

• Support and help manage consultation processes, including restructures and changes to terms and conditions.
• Prepare consultation documentation and attend meetings as HR support and note-taker.
• Manage an ER caseload covering disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance.
• Advise and coach managers through ER processes in line with UK employment law.
• Conduct or support investigations and attend hearings and appeals.
• Act as first point of contact for general HR queries.

About the Company

Our client is an established international manufacturer of loading and unloading solutions for the logistics and warehousing sectors, with a UK base in Milton Keynes and a nationwide team of field service engineers.

The Role

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you’ll lead on employee relations and consultation activity across the UK business. This is an initial 6 month temporary assignment with a view to going permanent.
